European Women in Art

Dr. Chassica Kirchhoff, Assistant Curator of European Sculpture and Decorative Arts from the Detroit Institute of Arts will introduce some of the European women who created artworks in the DIA, sharing examples from the museum's world-class collections of medieval, renaissance, and early modern art. This presentation will trace the histories of artists and makers who have only recently begun to reclaim a place in popular narratives of European Art. No registration required
